Sales Assistance

When you have ordered a wine cooler online without pre-sales advice you have therefore made a judgment that the cooler is suitable for your requirement. Our website provides as much information as possible to help you make a sensible buying decision. Based upon the information provided we will not be responsible for any suitability issue of any of our coolers, including performance,colour,dimensions, noise levels or general appearance.

Befrore & After sales advice is available via telephone or email. We will do our very best to advise you on the best cooler for your application based upon the information you provide. You must acknowledged that we can not always provide the definitive solution to certain situations and applications as there are certain variables that we can not fully appreciate. It will be your decision based upon the advice and information given to decide if a cooler is suitable for your use and needs.

Placing an Order

You may order products displayed on this web site by Calling The Wine Cooler Co. direct by e-mail. If you place your order via telephone or mail we will confirm you order via e-mail or post within 2 working days.

If Wine Cooler Co. is unable to supply you with a particular item you have ordered or if the correct price for an item is different from the price on your order, we will notify you as soon as possible after receiving your order.

In the event of this happening, you may cancel your order and we will refund your money within 30 days.

You can pay by any Visa, MasterCard, Laser credit card or by most debit cards. You may also pay by cheque posted direct to our offices if that is your prefered method of payment, please just allow extra time for clearance of funds and therefore extended delivery time.

Wine Cooler Co. will normally debit money from your account within one working day after we have received your order.

We cannot guarantee delivery times but we aim to deliver our products within the specified time given when you place your order. If our products are not delivered on time then please do not hesitate to contact our office by telephone or e-mail.


Delivery is normally included on our advertised products for the whole of Ireland and the UK.

Please Note:  If you have any special delivery instructions , we must be notified in writing at the time of order and we will endeavour to comply.

Please ensure that adequate facilities are available at your delivery point in order that the delivery driver can carry out prompt and safe unloading.

All deliveries are made by a single driver only and therefore it is his responsibility solely to deliver and offload at ground level only. If delivery is required to any floor other than a ground floor level site then you will need to make arrangements to meet our driver and accept delivery

Standard delivery is any time during a normal working day. However we can provide a timed delivery at additional cost and this can be advised at the time of purchase.

On Receipt of Goods

On receipt please inspect the goods carefully for damage as The Wine Cooler Co. is unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products unless the customer advises The Wine Cooler Co. of such within three working days from the date of delivery.

You now have 7 working days to examine the goods to ensure they are as you expected. Use of the goods can render them as second hand and therefore a charge may be made and deducted from the amount refunded.

Prices & V.A.T

All prices are exclusive of VAT ( 23% V.A.T will be added to each item unless you are a legitimate V.A.T Registered Company in the UK , If you are V.A.T registered, enter your V.A.T No. in the box as you Check-Out & Click the update basket, the V.A.T amount will be deducted/removed ).
All prices and products quoted are subject to alteration or withdrawal from time to time without notice, All Payments by Credit Cards incur a 2% surcharge to cover administration & banking charges.
Unless otherwise stated the goods shall not become the property of the buyer until the purchase price of the goods has been paid in full.

You must acknowledge that The Wine Cooler Co. are not the manufacturer of the Goods. We will however endeavor to transfer to you the benefit of any warranty or guarantee given by the manufacturer or supplier of the goods.

All goods on our web site are covered by a manufacturers warranty, the length and type of warranty is parts only for one year .

When in receipt of the faulty product we will either repair or replace the unit and return it to you by free of charge. If the unit has proved faulty as a result of a manufacturing fault we will fully refund you the original cost of transportation to us. In the event that we are unable to make repairs a faulty machine, we will endeavour to replace the machine or offer a refund. The amount of refund will depend on the period of use that you have received from the machine as per current consumer law.


Wine Cooler Co. shall not be liable to the buyer for any loss or damage, how so ever caused, whether direct or indirect, consequential or otherwise, suffered by the buyer or by a third party.

Product Maintenance

Tefcold wine coolers do require a certain amount of attention from time to time. Please follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for cleaning or servicing. Filter cleaning is of major importance and our recommendation are that filters should be cleaned once every month.

Failure to maintain any product pruchased on our site in a good condition can affect performance, cause premature component failure and most importantly may invalidate your manufacturers warranty.

Faulty Items

If a cooler is suspected as faulty within the first 14-day period from date of delivery we will pay for defective/damaged returns.  Please contact us by telephone or email and we will arrange for the collection. Once the cooler has been returned to us it will be examined. Should the returned goods prove to be without fault , then a charge of €40 will be made along with the cost of collection and returning the cooler to you. Your statutory rights are not affected in this process.


If you wish to return coolers for whatever reason within 7 working days of delivery, you may do so providing the coolers are unused and in their original packaging and in a condition suitable for re-sale (not applicable to Business customers). It will be your responsibility to return any goods at your cost. It is advisable to ensure that the returned items are fully insured against loss or damage during transportation back to The Wine Cooler Co.

When the reurned goods have been received by The Wine Cooler Co. they will be inspected to ensure they are fit for resale , after inspection you will be credited in full.

The Wine Cooler Co. require notice prior to returning any goods , this must be in writing either by way of letter or email. We reserve the right to charge for any damage or missing parts. Before returning any item you must also contact us by telephone on +353876762280 for full instructions on how to return the goods. We will not accept returns if the packaging is marked or damaged other than by the courier company. Where packaging has been sealed using clear tape then clear tape must be used to re-seal. The use of any other tape such as brown packaging tape, duct tape etc will render the goods as used and therefore second-hand and a deduction can and may be made from the amount owed.

We reserve the right to charge a 25% restocking charge which can be waivered if the correct or similar product is purchased from our site.
